In this article, we will discuss the integration of the Tepo Product Options app with the Shopify Point of Sale (POS) system. This integration streamlines your business operations by enabling seamless payment acceptance both online and offline.
Overview of Shopify POS:
Shopify POS is a user-friendly iPad application designed to facilitate in-store sales for merchants. It allows you to operate independently or sync with your online Shopify store, providing a unified platform to track all client transactions, whether they occur online, via mobile, or in-store.
The POS Integration feature is only available with version 2 of our app.
Tepo Product Options app in the POS:
Steps for Application:
On the Shopify POS app's home screen (smart grid), select "Add tile."
Opt for the "App" section to access a range of POS-integrative applications already installed to your Shopify admin.
Locate and select the "Tepo Product Options" app to ensure it's added to the smart grid for use.
Confirm by tapping "Save."
By following these steps, the Tepo Product Options app will be ready for action during your sales transactions on the POS smart grid.
Adding Products to the Cart for Sale:
Adding products to the cart is a fundamental function of any point of sale system. Here's how to do it:
Begin by using the global search on the Home screen for product location.
Input search queries like product names, variants, or vendors to prompt a product list.
For products with variants, choose the appropriate in-stock option and add it to the cart.
Go to the "Tepo Product Options" tile on the Home screen.
Choose "Add options" to incorporate the app's crafted product options into the cart. Complete all necessary fields and hit "Save" to revert to the home screen.
Selecting additional options for a purchase will automatically update the cart to reflect these choices.
For further actions like customer inclusions or discounts, please visit "More actions" on the Home screen.
Before checking out, kindly review all Line Item Properties on the summary page, then proceed with "Checkout" for payment.
