Saved Options in Tepo: Simplify Option Set Management

What Are Saved Options?

Instead of manually creating option sets or relying solely on pre-made templates, Tepo has introduced a brand-new feature: Saved Options.

This highly-requested feature allows users to reuse previously created options across multiple option sets, saving time and effort. Our development team is thrilled to finally bring this feature to life, helping you streamline your workflow and reduce setup time.

So, What Exactly Are Saved Options?

Saved Options are individual options that you can save for future reuse in other option sets. This means you no longer need to recreate the same options repeatedly for different option sets.

🎯 Benefits of Saved Options

Once you've built your Saved Options list, creating new option sets becomes much faster. When adding a new option to an option set, you'll have two choices:

Add New Option
Choose from Saved Options

🛠️ How to Create Saved Options

Method 1: Create New Saved Options

Access the Saved Options section from the app's portal.

Click Create Option to start building your favorite options for future use.
The process is the same as creating an option within a new option set.

Conditional Settings, Order settings and Manage Sale Channels are NOT included when creating new option there

Method 2: Save Existing Options

If you've already created options in other option sets, you can save them as Saved Options by following these steps:

Go to the Option Set containing the option you want to reuse.

Select the option > Manage Option > Save to Saved Options > Save.

The saved option will now appear in your Saved Options list

|| Once a saved option is added and used in another option set, any changes made within the option set editor will not affect the original saved option in the Saved Options list.

🔄 Apply Changes to All Option Sets

If your saved options are being used across multiple option sets and you make changes to them in the Saved Options page, you’ll need to confirm whether those changes should be applied to all option sets using that option.

When this happens:

After editing a saved option, clicking Save will trigger a modal asking for confirmation. You can click on Yes, apply to all or No, do not apply those changes in any option sets having these saved options.

This ensures you have full control over how changes to saved options are applied across your store.

🚀 Start Using Saved Options Today!

With Saved Options, managing your option sets has never been easier. Save time, reduce repetitive tasks, and enjoy a smoother setup process with Tepo! 😊
