Follow these simple steps to create and customize an Option Group:
Start by giving your Option Group a unique name. This name will help you differentiate between multiple groups when managing your options. It will also appear on your storefront, so make sure it’s clear and relevant for your customers.
Tepo offers two display styles for your Option Group:
Accordion: A collapsible format where customers can expand or collapse the group to view its contents.
Popup: A modal-style display that opens in a separate popup window for a more focused view.
Choose the style that best fits your product page layout and customer experience.
Decide how the Option Group should appear by default:
Expanded: The group is fully open when the customer accesses the product page.
Collapsed: The group is minimized, and customers must click to expand it.
This setting is perfect for controlling the visual hierarchy of your product options.
You can provide additional information or instructions to guide your customers:
Help Text: Display helpful details directly below the option.
Tooltips: Add a small info icon that customers can hover over to see extra context.
For example, you can use this feature to explain how specific options work or to clarify unique customization choices.
