How to sync options to Shopify Order tag?

What Is This Feature?



This feature allows our merchants to automatically sync specific product options and their selected values from Tepo to Shopify order tags. By doing so, you can easily filter and categorize orders based on these option selections.

By default, any order containing Tepo options will automatically include a tepo tag in the order tag. This helps you quickly filter orders with or without Tepo options.

However, with this feature, you can go beyond the default tepo tag and add specific options from Tepo into the order tag for more detailed filtering and categorization.

🛠️ How to Enable Syncing Tepo Options to Order Tags



To sync specific options to Shopify order tags, follow these steps:

Go to the Option Set containing the options you want to sync.


Navigate to the Order Settings section.


You’ll see two options to choose from:

Add Option to Order Tag: Both the option title and the selected value will be synced as a tag.

Keep the title and selections short since tags longer than 40 characters cannot be synced

Add Selected Values Only: Only the selected value will be synced as a tag.


⚠️ Important Notes



This feature is available for all option types, except for the following: Multi-line text, File Upload, Static Elements
Single-line text is now supported. If you'd like to sync this option type to order tags, kindly reach out to our support team for help.

🔧 Customizing Order Tags



If you prefer to only show specific options as order tags and would like to remove the default `tepo` tag, feel free to let our team know~
