How does the 7-day free trial work?

We offer a 7-day free trial to give you plenty of time to explore everything our app has to offer.

While our trial always gives you 7 full days, the way the counter displays the time can sometimes be a little confusing. This article explains exactly how the trial works and how we ensure you get every hour you deserve.

1. Understanding the trial counter (7 days vs. 6 days left)

You might notice that when you first start or upgrade your plan, the trial counter immediately shows "6 days trial left," even though you know you just started a 7-day trial.

Don't worry—this is intentional, and you are still getting 7 full days!

Here is the breakdown of how the display works:

  • Initial display (when on the Free plan): The app displays a 7-day trial.
  • Post-upgrade display (after starting the trial): The counter changes to reflect the remaining full days.

The trial counter is designed to show the number of full, 24-hour periods you have remaining.

When you start your trial, the current day (Day 1) is active. Since the current day is already in progress, the display shows that you have 6 full days left after the current day is complete. By including the day you started, your total trial time is always seven days.

Trial end date: If you upgrade your plan on October 1st, your trial will end on the following day, October 8th, giving you seven full days.

2. Trial persistence and reinstallation policy

Your 7-day trial is a one-time offer tied to the date you first upgraded.

  • If you uninstall the app during your trial, your trial period continues to count down from your original upgrade date.
  • If you reinstall the app after your original trial end date has passed, the trial will no longer be available.

Example:

  • You upgrade on October 1st (Trial ends October 8th).
  • You uninstall on October 4th.
  • You reinstall on October 10th.

Since the original trial end date (October 8th) has passed, the trial is considered expired upon reinstallation.

3. Trial time is based on 24-hour periods

We want to make sure everyone gets their full trial time, regardless of where they are in the world. So now, we guarantee a full 24-hour cycle:

  • Our system now tracks the exact time you registered for the trial. For example, if you register at 10:00 AM, the first trial day will not be considered over until 10:00 AM the following day.
  • This ensures your trial only deducts a day from your "days left" counter after a full 24-hour period has passed since you started.
