Translate using Shopify Translate and Adapt

To cater to a wider audience and deliver your content in various languages, you can translate an option set into multiple languages by following these steps below:

Open Shopify Admin and Navigate to Languages:

- On your Shopify store, please go to Settings -> Languages.

- From the Languages page, you can choose to add a new language or edit the added language.



Choose a Language to Edit and Open the App for Translation:

- Kindly select the language you want to translate.

- Then open the app "Translate and Adapt." from Shopify. You will be redirected to the app's interface as shown in the attached screenshot.



Edit Store Metadata:

- Within the app, please navigate to the option to edit Store metadata.



Translate Option Set:

- Kindly locate the tcustomizer_option_list of the option set you wish to translate from the metafields.



- Copy the data shown in the cell of the main language and then paste it into the corresponding column for the second language.

- After that, please change the text of the words you want to translate when switching between languages.

If some options in the option set has the conditional settings, there could be the issue where conditional settings did not work in the other language → In this case please help change the text for the conditions too.

By following these steps, you can efficiently translate option sets into various languages for your Shopify store.
